Product Description

KATMOTO K9 ECO 0W-16 is an ester-enhanced full synthetic gasoline engine oil for hybrid vehicles and new-generation low-viscosity engines requiring SAE 0W-16. It is designed to deliver excellent fuel economy, fast cold-start lubrication, reliable wear control and enhanced protection against LSPI and timing-chain wear in modern direct-injection and turbocharged gasoline engines.

Applications & Performance Level

Applications Hybrid vehicles, Japanese ultra-low viscosity new cars and frequent start-stop city vehicles requiring SAE 0W-16. Suitable for many Toyota, Honda, Suzuki and other gasoline/hybrid applications where 0W-16 is specified.
Meets / Suitable For API SQ/SP; ILSAC GF-7B; backward-compatible direction for ILSAC GF-6B and API SP/SN PLUS where SAE 0W-16 is recommended by the OEM.
Important Notice 0W-16 must not be used where the manufacturer requires 0W-20, 5W-30 or a high-HTHS ACEA oil unless explicitly permitted.
