EV-LC 100

Low-Conductivity Ethylene-Glycol EV Coolant · Ready-to-Use · −35 / −50 °C grades

Product Description

KATMOTO EV-LC 100 is a ready-to-use, ethylene-glycol electric-vehicle coolant engineered for the strict insulation requirements of EV thermal-management systems. Its electrical conductivity is held stably at about 60 μS/cm to safeguard the battery, e-motor and power-electronics circuits, while a dual-component Organic Acid Technology (OAT) inhibitor package delivers long-life, all-metal corrosion protection — including light cast-aluminium alloys — and excellent compatibility with EPDM and silicone-rubber coolant lines. It meets and exceeds GB 29743.2-2025 (Electric Vehicle Coolants) and is supplied in −35 °C and −50 °C freeze-point grades for cold and severe-cold climates.

Key Performance Features

Ultra-low electrical conductivity

Held stably at about 60 μS/cm (market-leading) to safeguard the insulation of the EV battery, e-motor and power-electronics circuits.

All-metal corrosion protection

Protects copper, brass, steel and aluminium alloys — including ZL101A cast aluminium and 3003 / 4043 / 6063.

Excellent elastomer compatibility

Optimised for EPDM and silicone-rubber coolant lines, with very low swelling for longer hose and seal life.

Long service life (OAT)

Organic-acid inhibitor technology reduces additive depletion and extends the coolant service interval.

Wide operating-temperature window

Low freeze point and high boiling point cover battery, e-drive and power-electronics working temperatures.

Ready-to-use · two grades

Pre-diluted, no mixing required; −35 °C for cold and −50 °C for severe-cold climates.

Applications & Performance Level

Applications Purpose-designed for EV / PHEV thermal-management systems — battery-pack cooling, e-motor / inverter cooling, on-board charger (OBC) cooling and integrated thermal loops. Ideal for aluminium-intensive cooling circuits and EPDM / silicone coolant lines.
Specification GB 29743.2-2025 (Motor Vehicle Coolants — Part 2: Electric Vehicle Coolants) — meets and exceeds.
Ethylene-glycol OAT chemistry — borate-, nitrite- and amine-free, low electrical conductivity.
Ready-to-use (pre-diluted) — no dilution required.
OEM Suitability Suitable for EV / PHEV battery, e-drive and power-electronics cooling circuits specifying a low-conductivity ethylene-glycol coolant to GB 29743.2-2025. Always follow the vehicle manufacturer’s coolant specification.
Important Notice Do not mix with conventional inorganic (IAT / silicate) coolants; top up only with the same product. Ensure the cooling system is clean before filling and replace per the OEM service interval. “Suitable for” does not mean official approval unless separately certified.
